I've been a Fido customer for 12 years, have 5 lines with Fido, and I'm looking to upgrade 3 phones on 3 of those lines. With all else appearing to be equal besides the 5G, I'm seriously considering migrating the rest of my Fido lines to Koodo and purchasing new phones on their Tab program.
I'm in same situation. Paid $100.00 plus tax Nov.1,2024 giving my Acct. $236.00 & find out now I lose all that. Been a loyal Fido customer for many years. Customer rep says because I was on Prepaid, I get a reduced Plan. I sais I would still be offered that Plan & not paid the $100.00 plus tax on Nov.1,2024. I feel cheated & scammed.

This model (SM-A225M-4GB-64GB-D) is marketed primarily to Latin America I think (LATAM region code), but I believe it should work in Canada on the Fido network. Can anyone confirm this please ? Should there be anything else to watch out for, e.g. compatibility of my old Fido SIM card with the new phone ?
I was with FIDO home internet user for exactly 2 years and my mother had been for the previous 3 years. I called and cancelled on11-Jan and was told how to return the Router with cable using Canada Post and a custom self generated return label. I followed the instruction promptly within 72 hours and have evidence that it got delivered to Rogers.
I have an additional charge on my credit card for the same amount as my monthly mobile plan, with the description Fido MACC. What could this be for??? It does not show on my account online. I was in Mexico 2 weeks before the date of this- could this be for roaming?? If it is why does it not show...
