16 Μαΐ 2018 · This is the third video I've watched on the Welsh flag which correctly points out that white and green are the Tudor colours but once again fails to mention why. The Tudors adopted them from the Kingdom of Gwynedd's military colours. This is starting to feel very frustrating.
15 Ιαν 2021 · A very few of them are decent, but it's a tough compromise because the UJ is such a good flag. Adding green as OP has. Green and white are the colors of the House of Tudor. The flag of Wales uses those colors, but it doesn't stop there. Adding green represents Tudor, not Wales, at least not properly.

27 Μαΐ 2022 · Thank you very much for saying so. It's very gratifying that when you can't find the right answer, loads of people are willing to help you get the correct solution. Lots of nations show an official direction for vertical hanging - I looked for such details from the Welsh Governmental website but found no national flag information at all.
7 Σεπ 2017 · It's the tongue sticking out. I used to think it was derpy too, but then I got drunk and watched about twenty All Black Haka videos on YouTube and I've come to the conclusion that sticking your tongue out can be fucking badass, and the dragon no longer looks derpy.

The alternate symbol for Wales is the yellow and black St. David's Cross (7). Variations including both symbols, and the green of the modern Welsh flag have all been proposed.
