10 Ιουν 2008 · Your oil pressure is a bit low but not off the chart low for a stock motor with 75k miles. You might want to check your oil pressure gauge and sending unit first; if you are using an after market electric gauge with a stock sending unit that can effect the accuracy of the gauge.
15 Ιουλ 2006 · I took it out and ran it to 5500rpm a couple times within the last 20 miles or so and now it only has 25psi at warm idle. It still has 75psi on cold start and 60-65psi going down the road, it's just low at idle now.
21 Μαΐ 2008 · The whole driver side of the motor seems to be getting oil just fine. On the passenger side however, it would appear flow decreases as you go forward on the cylinder bank (i.e towards #1). Pressure is around 65 psi or so at cold idle.
25 Σεπ 2006 · In the last two weeks it's started happening that even on 45minute drives the oil pressure at idle will drop to a point of the alarm going off. I assume if we go back to a thicker oil that the issue will disappear again.
17 Μαρ 2018 · Smooth like a sewing machine, but noticed the dash gauge read good oil pressure until warm and the needle would peg to the N of normal. So I installed a mechanical gauge and it reads as so, 40-50 psi idle and drive when started and falls to 30-40 cruising hot and 0 psi at hot idle in gear.
