11 Μαΐ 2020 · Just picked up a 2015 escape awd with the 1.6 eco boost, engine has low compression, so picking up a used engine for cheap, just wondering who’s done the work before, how engine comes out? Will it come out of the top without trans, or can I remove from clip and pull out engine and trans together?
5 Οκτ 2016 · The engine does remove from the top, easiest and safest way. You'll want to remove just the engine w/o trans. Basically you will need to unhook all of the wiring and hoses. Drain the radiator and engine oil.

24 Οκτ 2018 · Ford only answer to this flaw in long block engine replacement per TSB 19-2346. Sounds to me as an admission of guilt to the engine design. Ford needs to do the right thing and compensate their customers.
