For oral dosage forms (oral solution or tablets): For edema: Adults—At first, 20 to 80 milligrams (mg) once a day as a single dose or divided and given twice per day. Your doctor may adjust your dose as needed. Children—Dose is based on body weight and must be determined by your doctor.
