11 Μαρ 2019 · The GLOCK 34 Gen 5 absolutely hums along in fast fire. Even though the gun itself weighs fairly little, the 8-inch plus nDLC finish slide helps to keep the muzzle down. The barrel itself is actually 5.31”, about 1/3rd of an inch longer than a full-sized Colt 1911.
17 Μαΐ 2024 · The Glock 17’s 4.49-inch barrel is enough for most uses, but the Glock 34’s longer 5.31-inch barrel has a place as well. That .82 inch difference provides a longer barrel, which results in increased control and less muzzle rise.
23 Οκτ 2020 · The worst choice would be to take a Glock 34 Gen 5 and have a port cut into it. Totally defeats the purpose of the Gen 5 Glock 34. The Glock 34 Gen 5 is, in my mind, now a superb choice for duty because of the fact it no longer has the huge cut out on the top of the slide.

25 Μαΐ 2018 · The Glock 34 Gen 5 is a long slide 9mm that is equally capable on the battlefield or at a competition. The longer slide allows for greater sight radius and it’s easier to control recoil and have the gun “track” back on target.
24 Σεπ 2024 · It is a nine-millimeter striker-fired polymer-framed pistol with a 5.3 inch barrel. So, kind of think Glock 17 – same frame but longer barrel, longer sight radius. One of the best things about the Glock 34 is the weight ratio to sight radius and recoil control.
