9 Ιουλ 2022 · The GMX account does not have 2-factor authentication. My previous PC had Windows Live Mail (WLM) on Windows 10 and WLM worked fine with the GMX account. Sadly, although GMX provide some information for configuring POP3 accounts with various e-mail clients including WLM, they make no mention of the Mail app :-

I would like to ask if you are trying to use GMX mailbox in Outlook web version. Please point out if my understanding is wrong. I will continue to answer for you.

30 Ιουν 2020 · I use GMX for emails. I am using windows mail on my new laptop. When i create an email it sits in the outbox and doesnt send. No attachments so not a file size issue. I can access GMX on line and send emails fine. I have removed and reinstalled the GMX account on windows mail. Can you please help / advise. I am a tech novice. Many Thanks. Greg

Öffnen Sie Ihr Google-Konto. Eventuell müssen Sie sich anmelden. Wählen Sie Persönliche Daten aus. Klicken Sie unter „Kontaktdaten“ auf E-Mail. Wählen Sie neben „Alternative E-Mail-Adressen“ die Option Alternative E-Mail-Adresse hinzufügen oder Weitere E-Mail-Adresse hinzufügen aus. Sie müssen sich eventuell noch einmal anmelden.

Add another email account. Important: In the Gmail app, you can’t add accounts like Exchange and Post Office Protocol (POP). On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app . At the top right, tap your Profile picture Add another account. Select the type of account you want to add. To add your account, follow the on-screen steps.
27 Φεβ 2016 · If GMX supports pop, you can manually add the mail account as pop, using the settings provided by GMX Unfortunately, Outlook 2016 doesn't appear to support POP, but I am receiving emails intermittently . . . just not instantly. Which is still annoying. I'm in touch with GMX about this, so we'll see what happens. Thanks for your suggestion. SSH
