I have a GoXLR. I’d say it’s absolutely worth it. The official, beta, and open source versions of the app all work without issue. Makes audio control and routing super simple for streaming and virtually zero impact to performance as all of the audio processing is done on the GoXLR itself

The developer in charge of this project is competent, active, and has received a lot of information from people working at TC to advance his project.
22 Αυγ 2023 · As per the GoXLR discord: Try the following items to fix: 1.) Try all usb ports (even ports with other devices currently plugged in) 2.) Upgrade your usb drivers for your motherboard 3.) Upgrade your motherboards bios (See manual on how to do this) 4.) Try another usb cable for the GoXLR 5.) Are you using the original GoXLR cable?
1 Μαρ 2020 · To use GoXLR to the fullest extent, you need to use GoXLR's DAC. GoXLR's DAC is good, and I don't have a side-by-side comparison to say if the other is better, but it doesn't matter because you need to use the GoXLR DAC anyways. So yeah, I would recommend going from the GoXLR to your amp, and bypassing your other DAC.
follow-up: I uninstalled GOXLR app/control panel. Tried my HyperX Cloud Revolver S headset and a Blue Yeti Snowball USB MIC and had no issues whatsoever. As soon as I reinstalled GOXLR software, issue came back immediately. Guess I'm downgrading back to WIN 10 and potentially looking for a new setup and selling GOXLR setup...
27 Φεβ 2021 · I use my GoXLR to stream my Xbox games. All of its physical outputs and inputs are already in use. I want to drum to music live on my stream. I need to put the drumkit audio into my mix in the GoXLR, but I also need the ASIO drivers from the USB interface to be in use, so I don't get enough latency to make the drums unplayable.
30 Μαΐ 2022 · Does MOST of what the GoXLR does, but is far more capable (and cheaper, even buying new). It's also a good bit larger, and less desk-friendly. I'd also recommend at least one DBX286 channel-strip. You'll end up spending about as much on both as a GoXLR, but will be in MUCH better position, able to grow into the advanced capabilities in the future.

8 Σεπ 2020 · You need a cheap ground loop isolator. I have like 4 of them on our set up (we use a 3 pc set up with two GoXLR mini and use the 3.5mm mic setup currently) 1 on each mic and one on the line in and on the line out running to the mixers. It’s just ground noise from your houses power
14 Ιαν 2023 · I am using an AT-2020 XLR mic, a GOXLR, and USB to communicate with my PC. I am mainly using this setup to just chat with friends on discord or communicate though games, I don't stream but I do very rarely use it on OBS. These have been my settings since I got the GOXLR but as I said earlier it just kinda, stopped working for some reason.
