I went through this horseshit with photobucket last year when I got the email threatening to delete my account and immediately got the red "your account is over storage" warning. I forget how I got around it to delete stuff to bring my storage under the limit.
For the last few months I've been getting odd emails telling me to log into my Photobucket account or else it will be deactivated, and then I would get another and another despite actively logging in.

It appears that the kicked out users have no other recourse to regain access to their media, e.g., for exporting.
11 Σεπ 2010 · I've never been able to get anywhere with Photobucket (and it doesn't really matter whose fault that is). So I may not fully or correctly understand its purposes. IIUC, it's a main-frame or cyber-space equivalent of a material photo album a safe place to store your photographs your private property.

In an effort to flush out a troll pretending to be my son, another member posted a link to my photobucket account. I had saved the pics off of here and someone is using them off of my account to post photos as they track back to me now.
