Plot. The plot of Heroes is designed to be similar to the stories of comic books with small story arcs built into the series' larger story arc plot. Each season of Heroes is designed to involve ordinary people who discover extraordinary super powers, and how these abilities take effect in the character's daily lives.
As people across the U.S. and the world discover and use their special abilities in this NBC hit series, their world and lives are turned upside down as a serial killer named Sylar tries to hunt them all and make sure no one becomes as powerful as him. But it's not so simple.

In season one, Claude, portrayed by Christopher Eccleston, who had the power of invisibility, was instrumental in helping Peter understand his powers, throwing him off a building to try to help him fly, but he discovered he healed instead. Simone Deveaux was the first major character to be written out, dying near the end of season one.
