14 Ιουλ 2023 · The staring salary for an 11-month officer has increased to $54,000. A 12-month officer starting salary is $63,800. Each will have an annual increase through the 16 th year in rank. Additionally, officers who remain with HISD will receive a $1,000 bonus in September of the upcoming school year.
Houston Independent School District is hiring police officers for the 2023-2024 school year. Those interested are invited to Police Officer Interview Day on Saturday, Sept. 16, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Hattie Mae White Educational Support Center (4400 W. 18 th Street, 77092).
