If you have a physical copy, insert the disc into your drive and follow the on-screen instructions to install the game. For a digital copy, download it from your source, run the installer, and follow the prompts.

1. Install the Sims 2 normally from disc. 2. Copy the files from inside the downloaded zip and folder to "c:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\The Sims 2" and confirm to override the files already there. This will make the program not need to update anymore! 3. Install expansion packs in no particular order. 4. Enjoy playing the Sims 2!
Downloaded the file SimPe_0_75_69.zip, which I assume is the manual version? But not sure what I'm supposed to do with it now. I'm having a very hard time finding installation instructions for the manual version. The automatic installer refuses to work for me.
