My new HP laptop is on Win11 and I have been desperately trying to download the HP Printer Assistant I have previously used and am very happy with. I do a lot of duplex copying and do not want to use HP Smart as manually re-ordering is a huge waste of my time when HP Assistant did it for me automatically.
23 Ιουν 2024 · HP Scan Assistant – For those printers that no longer provide the Printer Assistant. HP Scan – Shortcut on Desktop named for the printer model. When installed, HP Universal Scan software adds a separate self-named “ HP Scan ” shortcut. Printer Assistant shortcut > Tab Scan > Manage Scan to Computer > Enable.
22 Μαρ 2024 · Open the HP Printer Software: On your computer, open the HP printer software. This might be called "HP Smart" or "HP Printer Assistant," depending on your printer model. Select Scan Option : Look for an option like "Scan" or "Scan a Document" in the printer software interface.
21 Αυγ 2022 · I cannot find the printer assistant to download so I downloaded HP smart. While all the functions are working, I can't find any of the scan functions. Does anyone know how to access the functions for darkening text, changing the contrast, midtone, resizing the documents, etc. All of those functions were available in the printer assistant.

Alternatively, you can download HP Smart from the Microsoft Store. For more information on how to set up your printer using the HP Smart app, go to HP printer setup (HP Smart app).

If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’. 6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
