Humboldt Sawmill Company, LLC manufactures a full line of redwood and Douglas-fir wood products, including timbers, lumber, decking, and uppers. Logs are sourced from 443,401 acres of company-owned timberlands in Northern California, where harvest levels are consistently below the forests’ annual growth rate and harvested trees are replanted.
At Humboldt Sawmill, we grow more redwood than we harvest annually while practicing wildlife habitat conservation that provides clean air, fresh water, and natural habitats for plants and animals.
HRC consists of approximately 327 square miles (209,300 acres) of coast redwood and Douglas-fir timberlands spanning across 60 Northern California coastal watersheds with about 305 miles of fish-bearing streams and nearly 1,100 miles of streams supporting non-fish aquatic life.

Humboldt Sawmill redwood has access to 850,000 acres of FSC certified redwood forestlands and two state-of-the-art sawmills in Northern California, supporting thousands of workers earning family wages and benefits in the US. Tropical Hardwoods include species like Cumaru, Ipe, Tigerwood and others.
