The Code of Excellence is designed to promote the IBEW to employers, customers, and fellow members. This course focuses on the responsibilities of IBEW members, how to resolve problems using COE provisions, and how to successfully implement the COE program within your local union or workplace.
The I.B.E.W. has developed a Code of Excellence program designed to bring out the best in our construction members and demonstrate to our customers that I.B.E.W. members: Exercise safe and productive work practices. Perform the highest quality and quantity of work. Utilize their skills and abilities to the maximum.
The IBEW Code of Excellence proclaims to all that IBEW members will: Come to work on time, fit for duty and ready to work. Obey recognized customer and employer work rules. Demonstrate zero tolerance for alcohol and substance abuse.
