3 Οκτ 2022 · Interposing relay system safeguards the Programming Controller panel from high-intensity field current that affects the PLC system internally. Interposing relays in PLC systems are used between dissimilar sensors, controllers, and/or control devices for controlling high-power circuits.
Identify the terminal block and relay numbering for the DO signal as per Instrument wiring interconnection drawing and Electrical schematic wiring drawing. Inject 24V DC with current ranging from (50-100mA) to the Coil side of the DO signal.
Interposing Relay is the auxiliary relay in plc which is used to isolate two different systems or devices because they have different voltage references.
How does an Interposing Relay System Work? When the sensor will sense the target and actuate, the 24 VDC will be supplied to the relay which will in turn change the contact. This contact changeover will be sensed by the PLC input. This way relay isolates the PLC working on 230 VAC and a sensor working on 24 VDC.
Interposing relays can be used to isolate control devices from dangerous load circuits. Interposing relays can ‘change’ a control (coil) voltage circuit into a higher or lower load voltage.
An interposing relay is simply an auxiliary relay that is used to isolate two different systems or devices from one another. So why do we need to isolate different devices in the first place.
3 Ιαν 2018 · Interposing relay system protects the PLC panel from overcurrent in field affecting internally the PLC. Directly connecting the proximity switch to one of the input channels of the PLC is not a practical option.
