1 Σεπ 2024 · Roku has announced that they will be ending support for several models, including the Roku 2050X, Roku 2100X, Roku 2200X, Roku 2400X, Roku 2500X, Roku 2600X, Roku 2700X, Roku 2710X, and Roku 2720X. These models are some of the oldest devices in Roku’s lineup, and they are no longer capable of supporting the latest features and technologies.
2 Φεβ 2024 · If I purchase a Roku Ultra LT in 2024 and Roku is no longer "supporting" that product, what exactly does than mean? Can certain apps or even Roku features stop working because it lacks a Roku update? Some clarity from Roku on this product would be greatly appreciated.
12 Φεβ 2023 · The latest Roku device to be sunset (support discontinued as of March 2023) and added to the "Legacy Device" list is the Roku 4 (model 4400x). https://developer.roku.com/docs/specs/hardware.md. ---- If the 4620x Premiere gets discontinued, then the 4630x Premiere+ and the 4640x Ultra would also be on the chopping block.
An updated Roku Ultra was released along with the addition of the Roku Streambar, a 2-in-1 Roku and Soundbar device. The microSD slot was removed from the new Ultra 4800, making it the first top-tier Roku device since the first generation to lack this feature.
