I was trying to re download my itunes program on my laptop that runs on Windows 7. I was redirected to the Apple support and researched the .net framework 4 installation.
8 Φεβ 2012 · After a failed update of iTunes (caused by a power outage), I received the following error trying to launch iTunes: "iTunes was not installed properly. Please re-install iTunes. (Error 7)." I followed the instructions on http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3074 but it didn't work. Clearly the .Net 4 Framework had nothing to do with the problem.

25 Δεκ 2009 · Error 7". If it matters .NET Framework isn't happily installed either (that will be adifferent thread). I've tried 'Byetunes.exe" and Revo Unistaller as Final Uninstaller to clean the system of Apple/iTunes files and registery entries.
31 Μαΐ 2018 · 1. Make sure that Microsoft .NET Framework has been updated to the latest version. 2. Uninstall iTunes completely by opening "Control Panel" > "Programs and Features" to uninstall iTunes and related components in the order: iTunes.
If you can't install or update iTunes for Windows Uninstall everything as per Apple's instructions: "Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later"
