Teachers have found IXL Learning to be a valuable tool for providing math practice to their students. With its organized structure by grade levels and standards, teachers can easily find specific topics to assign to their students.
TL;DR kid says IXL was a waste of money because it wasn't used for four years, then gives a review of IXL over the course of four years.
21 Φεβ 2019 · IXL Learning is an all-in-one solution to practice skills in subject areas (math, language arts, grades 2-8 science, grades 2-8 social studies, and intro Spanish). My 4 children were all able to use IXL at their individual levels.
IXL is really good at building a strong base of knowledge in math and ESL. Each lesson is so gradually different. Most of the lessons my 6yo will comprehend without me having to explain anything.
19 Αυγ 2024 · For teachers (and schools) who are committed to using it to help students, it can be very effective. There is no advertising and there are a ton of resources to go along with implementation of any kind.
IXL - Math and English is best for practicing and building fluency in math, and for accessing understanding of science, history, and grammar and language skills in English. But since it gives kids such great feedback for incorrect answers, there's a teaching component that you could use as well.
