11 Δεκ 2008 · Reference: JavaScript Tutorial: Comparison Operators. The == operator will compare for equality after doing any necessary type conversions. The === operator will not do the conversion, so if two values are not the same type === will simply return false. Both are equally quick.
7 Ιουν 2011 · It's a little hard to google when all you have are symbols ;) The terms to use are "JavaScript conditional operator". If you see any more funny symbols in JavaScript, you should try looking up JavaScript's operators first: Mozilla Developer Center's list of operators. The one exception you're likely to encounter is the $ symbol.
7 Φεβ 2009 · 1210. === and !== are strict comparison operators: JavaScript has both strict and type-converting equality comparison. For strict equality the objects being compared must have the same type and: Two strings are strictly equal when they have the same sequence of characters, same length, and same characters in corresponding positions. In short, when you care that let a variable assigned from a possible null undefined source, and you wish to provide a default value to the variable, use the nullish coalescing operator ??.
