The first 350 km. was 100% in the city, and the rest 400 km is 90% on the highways (we travelled this weekend with the Jeep).
Hi Everyone. Need an urgent help. My brother's 3 week old Jeep compass petrol's was parked outside his office. At night when he tried to start the car, the steering wheel was locked and the console had a "service vehicle protection system" warning. The RSA was called and they have taken the car to service station for further diagnosis.
10 Δεκ 2022 · A note about Jeep Compass' fuel economy Compass is doing much much better than my expectations on the fuel economy. I was concerned about low mileage during the test drive. The petrol engine is a gas guzzler especially on short trips. However the average has improved in a week since delivery.
3 Οκτ 2024 · There have been no changes on the mechanical front, though. The Jeep Compass is available with a 2.0-litre diesel engine that makes 168 BHP and 350 Nm. The engine is mated with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic gearbox. Bookings for the Anniversary Edition are now open. Prices for the Compass start at Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
11 Απρ 2022 · Sigh (again)! Alright, I will stop being so dramatic. I really liked the Thar but let bygones be bygones. This thread is not about the Thar - this is about my Jeep. (Sounds quite funny when you say that in one sentence). Coming back to the Jeep: given that the Compass was always at the back of my mind, I test drove it quite a few times in between.
20 Σεπ 2023 · Jeep claims that the Compass diesel 4x2 AT gets re-tuned fully independent suspension with a frequency damping front-and-rear-strut system. The company claims that the frequency selective damper and hydraulic rebound stopped systems absorb undulations to improve the overall ride comfort by 0.5 SAE over conventional dampers.
1. I've found the Jeep service centres in Mumbai to be always at capacity (or over capacity), but the staff is very professional, courteous and cooperative. 2. Jeep compass is often termed as overpriced compared to its competitors. It may be, but the buying decision is ours, and hence calling an expensive product post-purchase seems naive.
Explored the options of Ceramic coating but found it not worth (they don’t really protect the car from scratches as the ceramic coating is generally 2-3 microns). If someone actually wants to protect the car from scratches, then a PPF coating might be better but for a Jeep Compass, it would cost me approx. 70-80K or more.
