The OEM handlebar mounted ignition map switch allows you to access the built in dual-ignition mapping feature of your KTM, Husaberg, Husqvarna, or GasGas. A simple ‘plug-n-play’ installation connects to your stock KTM wiring harness and allows you to switch from mild to wild with a push of a button on the fly.
With KTM’s Ignition Curve Map Switch you can quickly choose between maps by simply flicking a switch on your handlebars. If your model of KTM features a digital box with pre-programmed ignition curves, this map switch gives you everything you need to start switching between maps on the fly.

28 Μαρ 2016 · On the 690 Enduro there is the rotary switch beneath the seat. I know that there are 4 possible settings. Soft, normal, aggressive and poor fuel. On the handlebar switch there are 2 positions to choose from 1 and 2. Which 2 settings will it change between when the rotary switch is changed, can anyone explain?
5 Απρ 2024 · I have the ‘07 250 XC-W, bought it used and didn’t come with headlamp or ignition switch. I just replaced the stator and realized that the light wiring harness exists from the stator, and that it should be super easy to run a rocker switch for the Soft and Race ignition maps.
20 Ιουλ 2008 · The original map switch can be replaced completely by an 15k ohm resistor, or put into the soft setting(pos. 1). I think I managed with a standard 12k ohm instead of the theroretical 12,4k ohm (yes, kohm).
