This is a list of fatal shark attacks in Réunion. Reunion is an overseas department and region of France and an island in the Indian Ocean with over 207 km (128 miles) of coastline and hundreds of public and private beaches.

17 Αυγ 2022 · Shark attacks are exceedingly rare but shark bite-related fatalities still do happen. Nowhere more so than in the water around Réunion island, a small French territory in the Indian Ocean, near Madagascar (via Britannica).
5:00am May 3, 2021. The sea was clear and glassy on the western side of Réunion Island when a two-metre bull shark set upon surfer Rodolphe Arriéguy. His friend, Erwann Lagabrielle, was nearby with two other surfers when he saw a commotion unfold. The attack happened at Saint-Leu, one of the island's best surfing spots, at 2pm on July 22, 2015.
