Leaving London at 7 am, reaching there at about 12 pm, gonna get lunch. Have a Motor boat booked for 1.30 pm, - 3.30 pm.
29 Μαρ 2020 · Hadrian's Wall Path and Coquetdale in Northumberland National Park are really nice. It's also one of the darkest places in the country, so some good stargazing to be had. But the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales are probably better for visiting little towns and villages within the parks. Northumberland is far more sparse.
1 Ιουν 2022 · This is specifically land owned by The Lake District National Park Authority, and not all land within the boundaries of the Lake District National Park. According to the Wiki on the Lake District , LDNPA only own 3.9% of the actual land within the boundries of the national park

Initially, I thought it's a hiking place but turns out it's a huge area and a day trip won't be enough. Now I don't know where to begin. I'm still more interested in seeing the lake District national park.

Just park on a street with no parking restrictions and you should be fine, being in a lay-by asleep is actually fineable though as people could need to use the space in an emergency. Last time I slept in my car I woke up at 5am and could not believe how cold it was, and this was in summer.
