Map Search. The map below can be used to view the freehold boundaries for the property or land you are interested in. You can also search using an Eircode or an address. Click on the area of interest in the map above, copy the number and paste into the form below.
View your newly digitised boundaries. Check that your solicitor registered your land correctly. Find out if your property is freehold or leasehold (subject to ground rent) Find out the name and address of the owner of any property in Ireland.
At present, you can take out a subscription to the Irish Land Register service directly from the Property Registration Authority. There are currently over 15,000 subscribed users of the Irish Land Registry, and over 3 million transactions are conducted through the online service annually.
Many of our services are available through our online service – landdirect.ie. To avail of the full range of services you must open a Business Account with a minimum pre-payment of €125. If you are not a Business Account Holder, you can search the Land Registry map online, free of charge.
The Land Registration Rules and the Registration of Deeds Rules prescribe forms of application for the registration of documents relating to land transactions. Forms for use in the making of applications for registration to Tailte Éireann may be downloaded from this web site.
