Plot. Shortly after the destruction of the Kragle via the Piece of Resistance, Duplo aliens arrive in the Lego universe and threaten destruction. [a] Emmet builds the aliens a heart as a token of friendship, but one eats it and demands more.
Synopsis. Just moments after Emmet Brickowski (voice of Chris Pratt) and his friends saved their city of Bricksburg, they are visited by aliens from the planet Duplo. This comes just after their real-world builder Finn (voice of Jadon Sand) is told by his father (voice of Will Ferrell) that his little sister is now allowed to play with Legos.

The film's story picks after the events of The LEGO Movie and begins with a scene, where Finn is told by his dad that Legos are now appropriate for his sister. Emmet and his friends sees Duplo aliens visiting Bricksburg, announcing their plan to destroy Bricksburg.
