8 Απρ 2023 · Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Southern Oregon University (OLLI at SOU) is the place where your dream can be realized. A special bonus is that instructors get to learn more about what they are teaching during the preparation for teaching their class.
At present, the Foundation supports 125 lifelong learning programs on university and college campuses across the country, with at least one grantee in each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The Foundation also supports a National Resource Center for Osher Institutes which is located at Northwestern University.
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Southern Oregon University (OLLI at SOU) is the Rogue Valley’s premier choice for staying intellectually stimulated and socially connected. This 1,700-member organization, geared to those aged 50+, offers noncredit classes in two locations—Ashland and Medford—as well as online.
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute will hold an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, July 28, at the Southern Oregon Stevenson Union building, 1118 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland.
This formal education program primarily for seniors, with members and instructors from the local area, is an important part of our intellectual life at Mountain Meadows. Over 300 classes are presented every year, available at a very nominal cost.
