Lost Canyons Golf Club was a public golf facility located in Simi Valley, California, USA. It had two 18-hole golf courses named Sky and Shadow. Both courses were designed by Pete Dye with consulting help from Fred Couples, and were named "Top 10 Best New Courses" by Golf Magazine (2001 Sky and 2002 Shadow).
4 Μαρ 2011 · The Shadow Course at Lost Canyons is shorter at just over 7,000 yards and is a more open, links-style play. It's routing is especially traditional with an outward and inward nine. The facility comes with tour-ready practice facilities including a large, grass driving range with nine elevated greens, plus a short-game area with three bunkers.
The Shadow Course was the second Pete Dye/Fred Couples classic layout to open at Lost Canyons, and it's pretty demanding. Whereas the Sky Course at Lost Canyons is fairly wide open off the tee and grants a break at times if you hit one astray, the Shadow Course isn't nearly so forgiving.
The course is best known for the final three holes (two par 5s and a par 3) which play along the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe and represent as one of the most picturesque finishing stretches in golf.
