Flying Mallard Duck. The Mallard small, flying duck. They are very similar in coloring to the Rouen duck, but are much smaller (weighing just 2-2.5 pounds). Mallards will start to fly for short spurts at 10-12 weeks, and will be flying well by 16 weeks.
