20 Ιαν 2023 · A Mandarin Goby lifespan in captivity can be two to four years. In the wild it could go as high as 15 years. The main challenge is ensuring the fish eats once you introduce it to your tank.
Mandarin fish are tropical, marine fish found in waters with a temperature range of 24 to 26ºC. They are bottom dwelling, found at depths up to 18 m (Randall et al. 1990). During spawning they are pelagic and are seen in the open ocean (Sadovy et al, 2001).
Lifespan: 10-15 years. Mandarinfish is a diver’s delight and a visual spectacle in the sea with their brilliantly bright colors, stunning patterns, and fin-flare. Their small (maximum 9cm) bodies are small and elongated, but they have broad heads, bulging red and black eyes, and pouty blue lips.
