The Hunting Atlas also gives basic information about those areas such as: acres, general habitat description, expected species and links to more information and maps, if available.
Hunting Atlas - Interactive Map of Iowa's Public Hunting Lands. To help maintain the success of IHAP, hunters are asked to respect private property when hunting and follow these IHAP tips and guidelines. Walk-in public hunting through IHAP is available between September 1 and May 31st.
