27 Οκτ 2013 · I have removed the barrel from my Model 60 and successfully reinstalled it but I don't recommend it. As others have said, there is no need to do so. I was stripping the gun down to sell for parts then I had a change of heart and reasembled it.

5 Μαρ 2007 · I'm thinking of cutting my barrel down a couple of inches and would like to know what's involved in removing the barrel from a mod 60. I see the pin through the receiver and barrel and a pin through the magazine tube band. Are these the only things to remove to get the barrel out?

9 Μαρ 2021 · I have refinished two model 60's, and just left the receiver attached. You just need to mask off the barrel and mag tube carefully. The aluminum receiver is soft, and removing the barrel can cause the press fit to become loose. This is why I only remove the barrel if it is just absolutely necessary.
