Applicants must file an application, be interviewed, and meet all financial and technical eligibility factors. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps, helps low-income households buy the food they need for good health.
The Food Supplement Program (formerly Food Stamps) and Medical Assistance do not have a time limit. When Temporary Cash Assistance ends because of time limits, earnings or other reasons, you may still get Food Supplement benefits and Medical Assistance.
