This logo is used as the primary logo starting on October 12, 2021 with the DVD release of Designated Survivor: The Complete Series. In late 1983, both the Laserdisc sister label MCA Videodisc and the VHS/Beta label MCA Videocassette were consolidated into a single entity, MCA Home Video.
Following the dissolution of MCA, Universal Studios introduced a brand new logo on December 9, 1996, and was given a proper animation to accompany it in 1997, which first appeared on The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Despite being replaced in 2012, this logo is still used by Universal Pictures...

3 ημέρες πριν · Although MCA was renamed Universal Studios, Inc. on December 9, 1996, the MCA byline continued to appear on films released until early to mid-1997, except for The Lost World: Jurassic Park (used in the trailers and TV spots instead, including the print logo at the end).
On some GoodTimes Home Video releases (i.e. Car Wash), the MCA/Universal logo plays normally. The background, however, has a moving starfield (possibly taken from the 1983 MCA Home Video logo) in the background (as opposed to the regular version where the background stays static).
Universal 1440 Entertainment is the direct-to-video entertainment label of Universal Pictures Home Entertainment created in 2005. The entity is a successor to MCA Family Entertainment. It is unknown whenever the label uses an on-screen logo as it uses the standard Universal Pictures logo in use since 2012.
Logo: The MCA Home Video logo appears in chrome (usually zooming in or sliding into the view). There are different variants: On the VHS trailer for An American Tail (1986), the logo was in gold on a black background. The gold variant is nicknamed "The Gold MCA".
