What is MCHL? MCHL (Metro Classic Hockey League) is a co-ed adult recreation ice hockey league. It is a non-check league. We have a winter and a summer season. Winter Season; Our winter season is 22 games plus a double elimination playoff. It runs from November to May. Games are played on Saturdays or Sundays.

MCHL Winter registration is now open! Season Timeline: Early registration prices close Sunday Sep 1st. Final registration date will be Sunday Sep 29th. Team drafts will be around Oct 10th. Games begin Sat Nov 2nd. There are 18 regular season games. All-Star games will be Feb 8th. Playoffs begin in March.

There are two sheets of ice at Moylan Iceplex. Both a NHL sized rink as well as an Olympic sized rink. On the MCHL schedule we will refer to the NHL rink as Moylan – NHL Rink and the Olympic rink as Moylan – Olympic Rink. Motto McLean Ice Arena. 5015 S 45th St, Omaha, NE 68117.
