Glaucoma is a disease of the optic nerve, the nerve cable that connects the eye to the brain. Glaucoma can cause significant vision loss and even blindness.
Medical marijuana is used for many therapeutic purposes such as chronic pain control, nausea, and seizure disorders, and is acquiring patients’ interest as an anti-glaucoma treatment too [5,21,76].
