Merion Golf Club is a private golf club which is located in Haverford Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, a township bordering Philadelphia to the northwest along the historic Main Line. The club has two courses: the East Course, and the West Course.
Most recently the host of the 2022 Curtis Cup, Merion continues to not only challenge the world’s best, but identify them as well. A report on the opening of Merion’s East Course on September 14, 1912 said the course was “among experts, considered the finest inland links in the country.”

Merion Golf Club, located in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, is one of the most historic and revered golf courses in the United States. The club is renowned for its prestigious East Course, which has hosted numerous major championships and has been the stage for some of the sport’s most memorable moments.
24 Μαΐ 2019 · Merion Golf Club is located northwest of Downtown Philadelphia, just outside the Philadelphia city limits. Merion has two golf courses: the West Course, a shorter, easier "sporty" (to use the club's own word) layout; and the very difficult, very storied East Course.
Merion's East Course, always on everyone's list of favorites, is a traditional golf club where history has been made time and time again. There's no doubt that the gods of golf have smiled on Merion. The Club was founded at just the right moment in time when the game was in its infancy in this country.
