I understand that the BBC used to use the Met Office for it's forecasts, but a little while ago they made the (fairly controversial) decision to go with a different provider. I have paid specific attention to it over the last few months, and it seems like the BBC forecast is just stupidly inaccurate and unreliable when compared to the Met Office.

The Met Office used to supply meteorological data for the BBC's forecasts until, iirc, 2 years ago - since then they've been getting info from MeteoGroup who will probably come to different conclusions than the Met. Personally I've always felt The Met Office's predictions to be overall, accurate.

Think of it as premium piracy where one month costs the same as a cup of coffee and you get access to all the movies/anime and series with no lag or buffering (That is if torrentio (the stremio ad-on needed for real debrid to work) is fully functional cuz it's been having some issues these past few weeks)
