Create, change, or customize a view. Applies To. Views give you different ways to look at items in a folder. Each Outlook folder, such as Inbox and Calendar, allows you to customize your view to change fonts, the organization of items, and many other settings.
In new Outlook, if you want to change how the message list is displayed, you have the following options: Change email display | Focused inbox | Organize messages | Reading pane appearance | Message list format.
The reading pane, sometimes called the preview pane, lets you read items without opening them. You can customize the reading pane according to your preferences. Reposition or hide the reading pane. The reading pane can be positioned on the right of the Outlook window, below the item list, or hidden.
I am playing with the Microsoft Outlook View control, trying to understand its capabilities, but I'm not getting very far. It shows up at design time, but at runtime it just gives an "E_CLASSNOTREG" exception. How do I find out what class it is complaining about?
