Since 2016, Mike has been collaborating with his son, Justin, in their pursuit of building a world championship-caliber top fuel team in the NHRA. Their relentless drive and winning spirit continue to set new records in the racing world. Mike’s mission extends beyond his personal pursuits.

The former Pro Modified champion-turned-Funny Car driver has had the car to beat at the last three events on the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing schedule, and for him having that title is sufficient for now. He just hasn’t reached the winner’s circle yet. That’s the Ashley way.
Ashley, who clocked the fastest Funny Car speed in NHRA history at 334.32 mph (Las Vegas 1 2007), will compete at the Memphis, Richmond, Las Vegas 2 and Pomona 2 races. He also will race a second MAR dragster on a part-time basis during the 2010 NHRA season.
