13 Μαΐ 2021 · Thanks a lot! I was attempting to set up LaTeX workshop with MiKTeX and was having some trouble. I ended up downloading something called strawberry perl and I also downloaded latexmk using the MiKTeX console. Now it works well though. Do you know if there is any way to stop the notifications you get from the extension when your typing something?
8 Οκτ 2018 · Download the MiKTeX 32 bit portable basic install to a single root directory, that one or all users can share. Make sure the directory has no spaces punctuation or accents, since these are common causes of older packages stumbling. I would suggest c:\MiKTeX since it short simple and descriptive.
30 Απρ 2024 · Yesterday I installed MikTeX according to (the instructions given on the MiKTeX homepage) (I did install it into the default directory) using the basic installer. However, when running an update via the MikTeX Console I got a notification that the package miktex-qt5-bin-x64 was damaged and needed to be repaired, so I attempted to update it using the console.

18 Ιουλ 2019 · When I attempt to compile fileA.tex, it cannot find this_project.sty. I am using TeXnicCenter with MikTeX on Windows 10, though I've also tried TeXworks. On Linux systems, where I have used projects like this before, I just added the LaTeX directory to the PATH and it was automatically recognized.
2 Απρ 2015 · I dragged the entire MiKTeX 2.9 folder to the trash and then went to the "Change or remove a program" option from Control Panel. MiKTeX 2.9 was still on the list, but when I clicked "Uninstall", I got a message saying that it may already be uninstalled and asked whether I'd like to remove it from the list of Programs - I clicked "Yes".
