Misty Creek Dog Rescue is a No-Kill, Not For Profit All Breed Dog Shelter. Without foster homes, we are limited as to how many dogs we can save. We take in dogs from pounds, reserves, other shelters and voluntary owner surrenders providing them with medical care, vaccinations, and behavioural training with the aim of finding them forever homes.
Founded in 1998 as a no-kill shelter, Misty Creek Dog Rescue is one of many volunteer-run shelters in Western Canada shouldering the burden of the thousands of animals who are abandoned, abused or surrendered every year.
Misty creek is an outstanding rescue. They go above and beyond to support the dog, adopter and foster. I had the pleasure of fostering for misty Creek. The dog was a senior and required a lot of dental and medical treatment. This was very costly and the treatment costs went way above the adoption fees.

Misty Creek Dog Rescue has been operational since 1998, we have placed over 1300 dogs that were either at the pounds, SPCA's or unwanted by their owners. We are a not-for-profit/no-kill shelter that offers to find homes for all unwanted dogs and puppies.
