History of the Mountain View Open The 2020 Mountain View Open would have been the 52nd edition of this annual tournament. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have to cancel the tournament for the first time since 1998.
This year's tournament is the 51st edition of the Mountain View Open, which started back in 1965. Over the years it has attracted top tennis players from Northern California and beyond to come to Mountain View to compete.
The Mountain View Open is an annual community tennis event which attracts top players from Northern California and beyond to come together and compete at the Cuesta Tennis Center in Mountain View. It is produced by Mountain View Tennis and community volunteers.
We are pleased to announce that once again, the Mountain View Open Men's and Women's Singles draws will count toward the national Top 500 Ranking List. This list is used for entry into pro-level events.
The Mountain View Open was a golf tournament on the PGA Tour. It was played only one year, 1964, at the Mountain View Country Club in Corona, California. The tournament was won by Jack McGowan, his only PGA Tour win, by four strokes over R. H. Sikes. [1] [2]
