15 Δεκ 2023 · I'd extract the mp3, the audio, and then I'd convert to text. That's what I want. So if anyone knows a way to go straight to that even without saving the vid that'd be good enough for that's what I want. I find his talks much more valuable and interesting when I can read them with all the benefits of reading and the written page over audio.

Secondly, if you want to change where to save future files. copy + paste a youtube link to download it, before you click "extract", click on "choose" to change where you want to save all your files. e.g. in my case I save everything to "downloads". I've been using this App for some time trouble free. Recently I set bit-rate to 'Best Quality' for certain MP3 ( it downloaded at 192 kbps. I've tried to go back to 128 kbps. It shows this in Preferences > Quality but downloads are still at 192 kbps. I've closed/open the App, likewise the PC, changed the setting to 320 kbps, but still at 192 kbps.
1 Σεπ 2016 · That gave a 2 minute 54 second mp3 file, the same thing I heard at the web page. But the site is off-air now. So that's probably just a placeholder file. The same method may not work when the site is live.
7 Σεπ 2007 · There are various commercial products that can convert FLAC to MP3, but I'm not aware of free products offhand. However, you can easily convert FLAC to WAV with free programs and then convert WAV to MP3 with free programs if you must do this. Do note that FLAC is lossless and MP3 is not, but MP3 will save you disk space if that is important to you.
And the name of the batchfile must immediately follow "--batch-file". Here's a bath file I used this morning to download some videos: Code: yt-dlp -f "bestvideo[width<1280]+audio-English" --batch-file batchlist.txt. "bestaudio" wasn't right for that site because it delivered a descriptive audio track for the blind.

just install a browser add-on that allows right click, once installed, play the video just right click on the video and click save as, change the name from video.T6KGSsD3fxl_# to video.mp4 and the video will download & play. hmmmmm, doesn't work for me.
