27 Δεκ 2022 · The game has been getting constant content updates since launch while being free of games-as-a-service style microtransactions. It has (in my opinion) the best procedural map generation of any game, and one of the friendliest communities.
Any of the sites in the “Games” category on the megathread should work, I usually use rarbg. Used it to get Dark Souls, Stardew Valley, and Cyberpunk. They all work fine.
I don’t mean multiplayer as in co-op between me and a few friends. Games that I do play to exclude from the list. Rocket League Sea of Thieves GTA and RDR2 CSGO The Finals Also, not big on MOBAs or BR games. Edit: also, it doesn’t have to strictly multiplayer as long as it’s open world, I hate most story driven games, I like freedom.
5 Απρ 2021 · I also recommend looking for some casino games to play for free (no real money just for fun), blackjack, roulette and etc., but I couldn't find anything good and in-browser to play with friends. Best experience I had so far was in a mobile game Texas Holdem which has all sorts of casino games built-in.
11 Σεπ 2023 · It is a bit difficult to find local multiplayer games with such a specific timeframe, since indie games and smaller-scale titles in general don’t reveal their release dates until launch. For example, River City Girls 2 was just “2022” for the longest time, and then was only given a release date nine days before it actually launched.
There are also two other online games that are great: Gartic Phone and Codenames, been having a blast playing these with larger groups. Mindustry is a neat tower defense game that supports multiple players. Rimworld, Subnautica, and Prison Architect all have multiplayer (with the first 2 being mods) however these aren't as fleshed out.
23 Φεβ 2022 · Imho there are two good multiplayer 4x: Dominions 5 - the rare 4x game that was designed with multiplayer in mind, with async turns and such. It has active MP community on Discord. Civ4 - thanks to PitBoss. PitBoss is a self-hosted server for MP games in Civ4. I used to play with friends with 24h turn timer for many years.
19 Μαρ 2022 · But look other comments too, there is stuff like speedrunners, broforce but they are more like casual games for me. Dota 2 and StarCraft have been some multiplayer games I played for years (along with AoE2 but I don't think you can get the old version now, only the remastered one that makes my 3500u fans run like a turbine, but it's playable).
