Clinical and histopathologic findings were consistent with Mycoplasma pneumoniae -induced rash and mucositis. The patient was treated with a 7-day course of azithromycin and prednisone. Complete resolution of the mucocutaneous lesions and respiratory illness was observed on follow-up examination.
