Child support can be arranged through the Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSE). The person who wants to receive child support can file a civil complaint in district court. Who can file for child support?
eChild Support. Welcome Parents and Guardians to eChild Support, your 24-7 access to case information. To start accessing your child support information online you will need to register your account in NCID.
The toll-free phone number is 1-800-992-9457. This puts you in contact with the Interactive Voice Response Unit, which is available seven days a week. Information is available in English or Spanish. Have your Master Participant Index (MPI) number available. A menu describes your options.

Child Support Services (CSS) are available to anyone who needs help collecting child support through a network of state and locally run offices. Individuals who receive services through Public Assistance (IV-A) or Foster Care (IV-E) programs are automatically referred for CSS free of charge.
