NCAA Division II (D-II) is an intermediate-level division of competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). It offers an alternative to both the larger and better-funded Division I and to the scholarship-free environment offered in Division III.
The NCAA has three division levels: Division I, Division II, and Division III. To give you a better idea of the size and how these college divisions compare, about 190,000 student-athletes compete at the Division 1 level.

7 Ιαν 2016 · College-bound students who want to compete at a Division I or Division II school must meet standards set by NCAA members. For Division III, athletes must meet the admissions standards set by the school. Eligibility standards can be found here.
