8 Οκτ 2024 · ECG features of normal sinus rhythm. Regular rhythm at a rate of 60-100 bpm (or age-appropriate rate in children) Each QRS complex is preceded by a normal P wave. Normal P wave axis: P waves upright in leads I and II, inverted in aVR. The PR interval remains constant.

Definition (criteria) for sinus rhythm. Regular rhythm with ventricular rate between 50 and 100 beats/min. P-wave with constant morphology preceding every QRS complex. The P-wave is positive in lead II. Figure 1 (below) shows normal sinus rhythm at paper speed 25 mm/s.
5 Μαΐ 2022 · When an EKG tracing meets these criteria —sinus-originating, fixed P-QRS-T repeating pattern, and HR between 60 and 99— it can be called Normal Sinus Rhythm. Normal Sinus Rhythm means: An EKG rhythm starting at the SA Node with a rate between 60 and 99 which follows the expected electrical path through the heart.
Sinus rhythm (which is the normal rhythm) has the following characteristics: (1) heart rate 50–100 beats per minute; (2) P-wave precedes every QRS complex; (3) the P-wave is positive in lead II and (4) the PR interval is constant.
An ECG tracing specifically shows how the depolarization wave moves during each heartbeat - which is a wave of positive charge - looks from the perspective of different sets of electrodes.
8 Νοε 2021 · A normal sinus rhythm refers to both a normal heart rate and rhythm. Normal heart rates are from 60 to 100 beats per minute. The shape of the electrocardiogram (EKG) tracing will exhibit certain key attributes to be considered normal, as discussed below.
13 Δεκ 2011 · Characteristics of a normal ECG. Rhythm: sinus. Rate: 60-100 bpm. Conduction: PQ interval 120-200ms. QRS width 60-100ms. QTc interval 390-450ms (use the QTc calculator for this) Heart axis: between -30 and +90 degrees. P wave morphology:
