13 Μαρ 2021 · Hello, my notion desktop app isn't working and i dont'know why. i made a fresh windows installation and that is happening. web app through browser is working tough. any idea? EDIT: just manged to fix it. set microsoft edge as default browser uninstall the app. go to %appdata% and delete the Notion folder. reinstall the app
26 Αυγ 2021 · I use Notion at work, but I use my personal Notion account for my daily to-do lists. I just pop all my tasks on a board view and move 'em all along. In my free time, I use Notion to organise my reading with lists of books I've read, how much time I've spent on each book, books to buy, bookshops I'd like to visit, and my notes on books I've liked.

Notion, while having overlap with products like OneNote and Evernote, is a different beast. Every field, block, page, table, etc. is a database field so considerations need to be taken about how data is stored, accessed, deleted, synced, etc.

Same here. I use Notion for task/project management, media notes (with lots of screenshots), and anything it makes sense to have a database (book db with booknotes on each db entry, cocktail matrix for different mixed drinks, etc.) and all of my permanent notes (zettlekasten) in Obsidian.
29 Δεκ 2019 · True! I actually can't even export any of the OneNote files from the app directly, and the copy pasting into Notion doesn't work either, looks like the copied information is not recognized in Notion. Now I'm stuck with keeping some information in Onenote forever :(
